+zoltig
On a cache page, how do you put an image as a background? On the page to report a new listing, just before the coordinates, date placed and related web page, there is a line that has "Background Image URL". Place a hosted image URL addy into this. You can host your own image on the cache page that you are working on and edit in the URL at a later time. Edited October 18, 2009 by zoltig Quote Link to comment

The use of the term "body" can cause some confusion. A web page has a structure of html markup. Everything between the <body> </body> tags is what will be displayed on a web page. A background image (for the entire page can be added by adding an attribute to the <body> tag. When editing a cache listing page, filling out the "Background Image URL:" field in the form will do that for you so that body tag will look something like this: <body id="geocaching" background="http://teom.coningham.net/images/psp7_tuts/starfield_02.png" class=" yui-skin-sam"> All of the html markup on a cache page is produced dynamically by the website and you're only able to change parts of it using using the cache page editing form. The attribute for the body tag can be changed as described above. Various other pieces of information such as the cache name, size, D/T ratings, etc. are inserted into tags in the markup. Tags for "Short Description" and "Long Description" are wrappers for the Short/Long description fields you fill out. They are the only elements in which you can provide your own html markup. All of these fields, as well as a lot of text/images that are part of every cache page make up the "body" of the page. Quote Link to comment

I was referencing this to produce the background of this- Heart Attack Hill for example. Quote Link to comment
