Found my first TB but had a problem registering it

I just found my first travel bug but when I tried to register it (or whatever it's called), geocache.com says that I found it in SD - it's last location before moving out west. Is there any way to correct the information? (I don't believe there was any way for my to provide the correct info in the first place).

Thanks for your help.

Since it was picked up by jfreemer1975 I would have to assume they haven't had a chance to log the cache and do the drop. Give it a few more days and if it isn't dropped you'll have to log the bug and Grab it way from them.

Then post a note on the cache and Drop the bug in. Access the bug page and do a Retrieve. That will give the bug credit for being at the cache and it'll be in your possession.

If jfreemer1975 does drop it just do the Retrieve.

It looks like the last person forgot to log it when they dropped it off in CA.

Presuming you have the TB in your hands, here's what you want to do:

1) Delete your "discovered" log.

2) "Grab" the TB.

3) "Write a Note" for the cache you found it in, and upon writing that note, "drop" the TB.

4) "Retrieve" the TB from the cache you found it in.

5) Delete your "Note" from the cache page (optional)

Thanks for the help. Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to do step number 3 - I was able to delete my discovered log, grab the TB and write a note for it under the cache where I found it. The problem is that I can't find a way to "drop" the TB. Sorry, but I'm still a newbie.
