Do I update the previous log or log it again as a DNF? Most people recommend that you keep your DNF log as it is and create a new Found It log. Quote Link to comment

Do I update the previous log or log it again as a found it? I just let my old DNF's stand as part of the history of the cache and just write another log if I find it at a future date. One thing I have seen that I like is an edited DNF log. After writing a brand new Found log they add a line to the old DNF indicating that they had returned and made the find. The original DNF seems to be otherwise entirely preserved. Quote Link to comment
+briansnat
DNFs are part of the cache history. Leave them an log a new find. Also, cache owners don't receive notifications of updates, so if you simply update your DNF the owner will never know the cache was found unless he checks out the logs. Quote Link to comment
