+wimpyt2560 Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 Following the succesful event which formed part of the Science Museum at Wroughton's Open weekend in 2007, another event is being held for 2009! The venue is the Science Museum's storage facility at Wroughton, Swindon, Wiltshire - which is a WWII airfield. Over the weekend of 12th & 13th September 2009, The Museum will be holding it's 'Festival of Innovation' and a Geocaching event is going to be part of it for the two days! We will be running demonstration caches for the public, as well as the normal event goings-on. There will be a number of 'hi-tech' exhibitors at the main event, which I'm sure will be of interest to us Geocachers and no doubt a few new caches to try out! Please check the link: GC1VBDO Science Museum Wroughton 2009 Event Cache Hope to see you there! Wimpyt2560 Quote
+tsiolkovsky Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 Any Garmin Oregon 300 owners going on Sunday? If so, could I pick your brains... I seem to be struggling a bit with this new GPS and would welcome some help from someone who uses / knows its little quirks. Rik Quote

Rik We are uncertain if we'll be there Sunday, but I believe AilecNor will be there Sunday so he may be someone to track down. Quote
