+tec_64
Hi folks!, Don't laugh. The Explorist 200 was free and it has been a very trusty little unit. Anyway, the accuracy is ok, just the clock has seemed to slip 3 seconds. I had this problem before and fixed it with a recommendation from this forum. I did a search here but can't seem to find anything on this particular subject. I did a clear and dump but it didn't work for the clock (and I had two WAAS birds, now I only have one. I knew that might happen). Time to go shopping I think. Wayne Quote Link to comment
robertlipe
This is a well known problem in all the Magellans of that lineage since about the turn of the century. http://www.gpsfaqs.org/faqs/magellan/explo...usage.html#time Though the FAQ isn't about your exact model, the x200 shares this defect with the other explorists, the SporTraks, the Meridian, and even the map 330.
