GSAK sending waypoint name vice GC code to Garmin

I may have seen a thread on this previously, but can't find it using search.

Can one change how GSAK sends information to GARMIN 60? I get the waypoint name, but

would much rather the GC cache code. Any ideas?

Yes, it's actually pretty easy.

 

You just change the output code to say this

Thank you from me also. I had started out with the GC codes, but somehow switched it to the names. It was on my list of things to get-around-to checking-out-and-fixing-someday, but now I can do it easily.

You're welcome.

You can also put the container size next to the GC code if you want to. That way you can see easily what size yo would be looking for and skip if its a size you don't like.

 

I put the first letter of the container size and then the name of the cache with this code
