CabralFamily
Hi! I have a Garmin 260W. If I buy a USB cable for it, can I use the function on the geocache pages to send cache coordinates to my GPS? Or do I need something else besides a USB? Quote Link to comment
+Lord Cadogan
That is all that should be required. I believe the page supports all Garmins that can receive WP's to them. It probably uses the same method as the Mapsource program does. Quote Link to comment
NordicMan
Is the 260W a Nuvi? Didn't it come with a USB cable? Quote Link to comment

Or do I need something else besides a USB? I've got a 260 which, except for the fact that it does not have a wide screen, is probably the same unit that you have. I don't cache with mine and, because the computer interface looks different than that with my other garmin gpsr's (i.e. it doesn't communicate with mapsource), I presumed that it also would not communicate with the "send to gps" function. But, I just proved myself wrong - I was able to download a cache and then was able to find it by the 6 digit code in the list of favorites. Quote Link to comment
+Hrethgir
I have an older Garmin Streetpilot c510, and if I have it plugged into my laptop with a USB cable, I can send caches to it from gc.com, and I can also send PQs to it with MapSource, no problems. Quote Link to comment
