Oregon 300

Hi all

Just got an Oregon 300 and all is going great other than when I send a cache to the unit no hint is showing.

Am I missing something, I am using version 2.80 version software

 

Any help would be great

I'm new as well, but my understanding is that the hints and logs only get sent to the device if you are a premium member.

Yup - you need to be a premium member. Then learn to use Pocket Queries ( http://www.markwell.us/pq.htm )

 

Then unzip the PQ and place it in the [drive]:\garmin\gpx folder on the device while it is hooked to your PC in mass storage mode. Unhook and go caching.

Thanks for the replies guys, they show up once you get close and another menu shows up. Very cool
