still getting notifications on caches removed from my watchlist

I recently removed a number of caches from my watchlist, but I still get updates.

 

Is this because the database is not being updated immediately, or are there other problems?

After selecting to remove, did you remember to click the Are You Sure - Yes button?

 

Check the bottom of the email, it'll say where it's coming from and provide a remove link.

I did do this. I have removed many caches from my watch list, and the one I keep getting updates on is not on my watch list. I checked as soon as I got repeat updates.

The e-mail queue sometimes gets backed up for a few hours.

 

Maybe you have the cache bookmarked on a list which has "send me mails when this cache is logged" set.

 

Or maybe it would go away if you re-added the cache to the watchlist, then deleted it again. (The old "IT Crowd" trick. )

Can you post the body of the email so we can try and workout why it's coming?

Hey, don't complain, there are a lot of people having problems getting emails from the frog let alone trying to stop them

Thanks for all the replies. It seems to have stopped. Probably the removal took time to be acknowledged. Or the emails sent before I removed it from my watchlist.
