+beejay&esskay Posted April 20, 2009 Share Posted April 20, 2009 As part of my attempt to find a cache in every county in Kentucky, I have downloaded information about all the caches. Since I had the information, I decided to investigate the cache density in Kentucky. I counted the number of caches around each cache in a 10 mile square centered on that cache and plotted the results. Most of the "hot" (or "warm") spots are probably readily identifiable, but if there are questions I'll try to answer them. Thanks to GSAK (for organizing the raw data), Anton Damhuis (for help with the SQL) who has done a similar graph for South Africa and QuikGrid (for presenting the SQL results). Quote Link to comment
