Your original post got eaten by the forum. Are you referring to the "maps are more than one year old" message that you get upon launching Mapsource?

 

Yes, it's annoying.

 

No, Garmin, I won't be buying a new version.

 

I did an exhaustive Google search, but couldn't find any information about it.

I get the following opening nag screen in Mapsource v16.15.4. Any thoughts on how I can shut this off?

Even more annoying is that I got the message, but when I went to Garmin’s web site, there was no update available (which I had already suspected). I plan to send Garmin an email requesting that they add a “Don’t ask again” checkbox. If enough people do that, maybe they’ll get the message.
