Hi folks

Here's the event page for the Calgay Area Cacher's Spring 2009 CITO:

http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...b1-b5eea689770f

Weather forecast is for 13°C and mostly cloudy - waaaaaay better than heavy snowfall and freezing sideways rain!

We will be cleaning our adopted Edworthy Park and follow up with a BBQ and a fantastic prize draw, with a Garmin Nuvi 550 up for grabs among other prizes!

We clean for 2 hours and the event starts at 9:30am. Please post a will attend note on the cache page if you are planning on coming.

Hope to see you there!

A few more updates on the cache page - here's the juicy ones:

Thanks to everlan, we now have two grand prizes - each with a brand new GPSr and some extra goodies!!

Weather is still holding out to be a super sunny day! But wear waterproof shoes or sandals as the ground is probably quite damp.

We have all the food items we were looking for.

Only 3 days away. Starts at 9:30am on Sunday. Early bird prize drawn at 10:00am.

See ya there!!

Tomorrow! 9:30am! Great weather still!

Early bird draw at 10:00am.

Registration over at 10:30am.

Cleaning from 10:40 - 12:30pm

BIG lunch at 12:30!

Prizes and photographs at 1:30pm - 2:00pm! LOTS of prizes!

Make this the biggest Calgary event ever! Last year we had 108 people turnout - this year? Who knows? The more people that come - the cleaner the park is, and the least amount of food is leftover!

100lbs of hamburger patties must be eaten!

60 prizes must be won!

8 pop cans must be found!

2 brand new GPS receivers must be taken home!

See you there!!
