+lil'hobo
I was just at the local army navy store and they have the military cammenga compasses for $50. I always carry a compass (suunto A 10) in addition to my GPS when hiking, just in case. I was just wondering if this compass is worth it. I am no compass master by any means, but I do know how to use one for some basic navigation. Is there really a difference, other than the cool factor? And if there is a difference, does it last a long time considering the price? I would think that for $50 it should last forever. Thanks Quote Link to comment
+TotemLake
I've used a lensatic compass for years and have been looking at getting a possible replacement. I think you just pointed me in the right direction. Quote Link to comment
