+esseneth
Can anyone tell me what Denver Parks and Recreation's requirements are for placing a cache? Do you know the best person to contact? I've wanted to place a cache for years and I'm a little timid on asking permission. I've found a perfect park next to my house with no caches. I'd really like to place my first cache. Any help you can give me would be appreciated. Quote Link to comment
+crockett3663
Do you have a more localized caching association? If so, that might be a better place to ask. I know here in Wisconsin, where we have the Wisconsin Geocaching Association, many of the park directors both for the state as well as locally are all very familiar with the geocaching hobby, and are very receptive to caches being placed within their parks...as long as the rules of both the park's and the geocaching sport are being adhered to. In fact, many of the parks directors are on a first name basis with some of our more frequent hiders, so there should be no need to feel intimidated by those around the Denver area, either. Thank you! That was just the direction I was looking for. Quote Link to comment
