Palm, GSAK, Cachemate - getting rid of child waypoints

I must have exported Caches with child waypoints to cachemate, so now I have child waypoints listed on my Palm. This is undesirable: It clutters the list - for instance I have a number of points called "parking" in the list of caches.

Now as far as I understand the system hot-sync merges the computer generated database with the PDA database (as opposed to rewriting it), so I cannot get rid of the child waypoints on the PDA. I hope I have explained the situation clearly.

Can anyone suggest how I can remove the child waypoints from the PDA or alternatively clear the cachemate database on the PDA so that I can reload from scratch.

Thanks

To clear the Cachemate database and start over, first tap category (upper right) and set it to ALL, then tap the the Cachmate main menu and choose Delete Records. Confirm it and you will end up with an empty database.

I was about to ask that question and you have supplied the answer - thanks. One needs to clear the database on the PDA to get rid of the unwanted child waypoints if they are already there.
