+Kayak Kouple
A friend of mine has a 60csx that he is having trouble with....When connected to puter & he turns it on all he gets is a white screen ...when he unplugs it he hears the beep but a dark screen....He has taken out batteries & made sure card is in correctly still nothing...He has also tried it without the card & still nothing....Any Ideas out there ... thanks in advance Quote Link to comment
+fratermus
My instinct is that the usb cable is plugged into an unpowered hub which is at the limit of its power draw. I'd try plugging it into a usb cable that's jacked into the PC directly or into a powered USB hub. Quote Link to comment

It was connected to the Puter correctly as the backlite worked....we also unplugged it from the puter & turned it on using only the batteries & you could hear the beep but the screen was dark Quote Link to comment
+kayak-cowboy
Sounds like the back light is turned all the way to dark. Quote Link to comment
+The Leprechauns
Totally blank and won't turn on? I had the same problem with my ex-wife. I upgraded to a newer, more functional model. Quote Link to comment
dictum9
I had a similar thing happen with 60CSX. Except I didn't even get a blank screen, rather the power switch or something in the circuit failed. So I would have to turn it on about 50 times before it came on. Same thing with turning it off. Ended up exchanging it for another 60csx. Quote Link to comment
+vwaldoguy
I don't know if this will help, but I did find another article about a bricked 60CSx., and what the solution was to fix it. Quote Link to comment
