+CapeDoc
Hi All I was thinking of doing a series of caches that involves taking you to Seven Wonders of the world. As I am from South Africa, I was hoping to find someone to help me place and maintain a cache at the Grand Canyon as part of the series. Would anybody be up to helping me? Please feel free to post here and I you are really serious, send me a PM so that I can get your email address. Looking forward to hearing from you! CapeDoc Quote Link to comment

CapeDoc The Grand Canyon is managed by National Park Servie which does not allow geocaches. Well, not yet. There are many virtual caches and some Earthcaches that already exist. Quote Link to comment

+Moose Mob
Not really. Here is the Grand Canyon National Park website. Click on "Map" to see the boundaries. Also note that there are Indian Reservations around the area as well. They do not allow geocaches either. Note: Arizona has some of the toughest land use policies. There are numerous Virtuals (including one virtual multi-cache) but no Earthcaches that I am aware of. There is one extra special regular cache (GC5F1) in the inner canyon that was placed by and is maintained by the NPS. But as far as placing a cache within view of the Grand Canyon, at this point, you're pretty much out of luck. (Since new Virtuals are not accepted...) Quote Link to comment
