Most every good adventure (or sports) store will carry them not to mention places like Fry's (which is a must stop for any of us Geeks anyway). You'll easily find what you're looking for at either of your stops too. In L.A. you can drop the kids off at Disneyland and then go to the true happiest place on earth (that's Fry's).
