Waypoint database?

Anyone know of an online database anywhere that contains the locations (hopefully in a downloadable file and not just coords) of National, State, and County Parks? I'm having a very tedious experience just trying to get a handfull- I can't believe there isn't a central repository of this type of government information.

Take a look at the POI-factory.com website. There are hundreds of categories and over million POIs. Here is the link to one of their POI files that has all of the State Parks for the U.S. http://www.poi-factory.com/node/13054 It is a .csv file that you can load as a "Custom POI file" or convert it to a .gpx file and open in Mapsource and save as a .gdb file and transfer the waypoints to your GPS. You will probably find other files of interest if you haven't looked at the site before.

thanks! just what i was looking for. if i had used POI instead of WAYPOINT in my google search i probably would'a found it.
