+GeoTectives Posted August 29, 2008 Share Posted August 29, 2008 (edited) It´s now 2008 and here in Sweden, we get this kind of mail from GC: 31. 229;lle-b& #229;lle (Traditional Cache) (GC1FKQ9) instead of 31. ålle-bålle (Traditional Cache) (GC1FKQ9) (I made space so it´s shown right) It´s a shame that you can´t get right with these things. I also know it is the same problem with the majoity of euoropean languages. And it´s the same with PDF generated files too..... Why don´t you use UTF8? +sTeamTraen Posted August 29, 2008 Share Posted August 29, 2008 The issue is not really UTF-8, it's that one or two bits of code which are generating standards-compliant HTML are also having their output used in non-HTML contexts. This appeared a few months ago and has been extensively reported here, and I believe that Groundspeak is "workin' on it". Link to comment
