I know its on the website somewhere, but I cant find it. What do the (D/T) mean, for example 1.5 or 1.5/2 ect?

D=Difficulty

T=Terrain

 

Just means how tough they are on a scale of 1 to 5

1 being easy

5 being toughest.

It is a difficulty rating given by the cache owner to each cache -- D = difficulty which is rated 1 - 5 with five being the most difficult. The T stands for terrain with the same rating. A terrain rating of 5 would be steep hill perhaps or long distance or lots of bushwhacking.

at any rate, terrain 5 is generally considered to require special equipment, such as a boat or climbing gear.
