COINTEST: Guess the location of the 8/8/8 event in Italy

Yippie! Thanks kdv! I actually didn't spot the figure "8" until much later. My first guess was based only on the fact that the area looked somewhat foresty, so I figured it was a good spot for some event caches. Once I did see the "8," I knew that was the spot.

 

Thanks so much for this cointest. It was fun using the map, especially once I got the whole coordinate thing worked out. I hope your event goes well when the big day rolls around!

That was what I thought too, when I saw the hippodrom!

That is why I posted that my guess was funny!

My coodrinates were inside the hippodrom!
