+Happy Bubbles Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 I'd like to write bilingual logs and cache descriptions. When I type in Japanese everything looks fine on the preview, but when it shows up on the cache page all I see is ????????????????. I've seen other people's logs in Japanese - how do they do it? You convert your Japanese to unicode here: http://www.pinyin.info/tools/converter/chars2uninumbers.html and paste the unicode into your log. It will then show up correctly. As far as cache descriptions, you select text insted of html and do the same with the unicode. よい運! Quote

bakamono Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 Thanks a lot for the info! I was wondering for a while know, how come japanese text could appear on caches and logs properly while the site doesn't seem to fully support unicode for all languages. This converstion site works for other languages too, like greek in my case. それで、どもありがとうございました! Quote
