Where is Frances Slocum State Park in relation to Hazleton? We are going to be in Drums, PA from 5/23 to 5/26 so maybe we'd stop by this way (we actually tried to go to the unofficial Ricketts Glen event last July, but we were only able to attend the afternoon picnic and not the morning hike/caching part so we couldn't find the darn thing! Though "finding it" meant hiking around the park and seeing all the cool waterfalls, so it was no loss for sure......)

I'm not sure where exactly Drums is in relation to the interstates, but a straight shot up I81 from Hazleton will take you to the exit for Rt 309 in Wilkes Barre. Then you'd head up 309 and get off onto Rt 11 in Kingston. At 8th street, you'd turn towards the park (there is a sign for Frances Slocum State Park) and head straight up to Mt. Olivet Rd and the park entrance. We will be at pavilion 2, which is right on the main road as you enter the park, so you wouldn't DNF the event this time!
