+2Grands Posted May 7, 2008 Share Posted May 7, 2008 I am using a Garman e-Trex with chip, premium member on here, and I hit the "send ot GPS" button on the sites I wanted to transfer. I have the current Garmin communicator plug in installed. The pop-up box said the information on the sites had been sent to my chip in my Garmin (yes, it is connected to the computer) but when I try to see the sites on my Garmin, I am unable to find them as waypoints, geocaches, or any other item. sdarken Posted May 7, 2008 Share Posted May 7, 2008 When you use the Send to GPS option, the waypoints get saved under their GC identifier (eg: GC14WR9) rather than the cache name. I thought it might be worth mentioning that in case you were looking for them using the cache name. Link to comment
