etrex and cache codes

Because the yellow etrex only recognizes 6 digit cache codes (waypoint names) how can pocket queries be manipulated to remove a digit from the front of the coded rather than the etrex only recognizing the first 6 digits and consequently leaving the seventh digit off? Or is there another way?

I only know of GSAK that can do that, using the "%drop2" command. There may be other programs, but GSAK is known as the best program for managing PQs.

Thanks Chuy. %drop2 works a treat. Much more staright forward process than I had imagined. Great little program.
