Plug and Play Maps

I searched previous forum topics but was unable to find anything that addressed my problem.

 

When I insert by Plug and Play City Navigator North America NT 2008 micro sd card to my Garmin MAP60Cx and start the unit up again, nothing changes. There are no prompts, no detailed street maps -- just the same old base map.

 

I push menu and go to map setup, and scroll the selections to match the settings with what I see in the instruction manual, but I can't change the setting that says, "Americas Marine Point Basemap, Jan. 2001 to the example in the manual. What am I missing? or doing wrong?

The only thing, I can think of is that the card may not be seated properly. I have had this happen before with my Map60Cx, and I had to re-seat the card in the unit, then slide the metal clip closed.

try hitting menu on while on the map page select setup map and when the page changes hit menu again and select show city nav. hopefully this will solve the problem.
