60csx lock up - can you guys duplicate?

I was in my basement logging some geocaches and found a way to lock up my 60csx.

- Turn unit on somewhere where it won't find GPS signals

- Go to Calendar, open a day to display the finds

- Eventually the GPS times out and pops up the message giving you the choice to continue searching or use with GPS off.

- When I hit Enter to use with GPS off, it's locked up. I have to power off/on

Can anyone duplicate this?

I reported this problem to Garmin as far back as August 2006. So, yes.

I have a venture and if I am using gps off then choose to turn the satillites on it will kind of lock up. Sometimes it will just take a long time to respond again.

Also, there was a couple of instances where I had it hooked up to the computer and unplugged it and I let it turn itself off. Then when I turned it back on it locked up at some point, I can't remember exactly what happened cause I have been avoiding doing it again but I had to take the batteries out to get it to respond again.

I don't know if that's any help because they are not the same model but I thought I would mention it just the same.
