+Miragee
Welcome to the Forums! Hmmmm . . . good question. There was a really fun multi-cache here that was hidden in a locked mailbox along a row of 93 other unique mailboxes. You got the coordinates, and the combination for the lock, from the first stage of the Multi that was a few miles away in a park. Because the fake mailbox was locked, it couldn't accidentally receive mail. Quote Link to comment
+Thrak
What are the Postal Regulations and limitations for placing a geocache mailbox along in a row of rural official mail boxes? I'd be extremely careful about placing it in a row of mailboxes like the one shown above. If someone sees you looking for the cache and checking around all the mailboxes you may very well find yourself sitting in the back of a patrol car wearing handcuffs. I've found one in a mailbox that was placed all by itself in a rural setting. It wasn't a "mailable" address or anything so there wasn't a problem. Quote Link to comment
