Doug & The Butterfly
My wife and I just got introduced to this great sport. We have logged 9 sites so far. We are currently borrowing a friends old "Sport Trac" GPS but I need to get one of my own. I want a good entry to mid level unit that has computer connectivity, upgradeable memory, and possibly the ability to down load coords right to the unit. Is this possible for around $200? Any advice would be appreciated Doug & the Butterflyjava script:emoticon('',%20'smid_13') Quote Link to comment
+StarBrand
Can't go wrong with a Garmin Legend HCx model. Compact, rugged, long battery life, expandable memory, USb connections, color screen, routable mapping. Shop around - you can get one for right at $200. Quote Link to comment
+XopherN71
Pretty much any Garmin from the eTrex H on up would be a real nice choice. I recommend Garmin mainly because it integrates easily with this site, easy to use and well, it's what I'm used to I use a GPSMAP 60CSx and have a Colorado 400t on order. Quote Link to comment
