+friendly four from felton Posted March 25, 2008 Share Posted March 25, 2008 I have several GPS units and I recently purchased a Vista HCx that I do enjoy using. The other day it stopped working correctly and I just returned it. After I returned home I realised that I only have two unlock codes for my Mapsource maps. Is there a way to cancel out the mapsource that I had on my old unit and transfer it to the new one? Or am I screwed? Please help.... Quote Link to comment

+Thrak Posted March 25, 2008 Share Posted March 25, 2008 I've had Garmin give me replacement unlock codes in the past. You will have to be able to prove you returned the item though. Don't waste time with email, call Garmin and ask what they need you to do. 1-800-800-1020 Quote Link to comment

The guy told me to fax him the recept proving I returned on and purchased a new one. I did that 3 days ago and still dont have the unlock code. Then I get an email from a different guy asking for the same thing. What a joke. I am getting tired of this. Quote Link to comment
