I sat on hold for over 20 minutes. The guy told me to fax him the recept proving I returned on and purchased a new one. I did that 3 days ago and still dont have the unlock code. Then I get an email from a different guy asking for the same thing. What a joke. I am getting tired of this.

It would be nice to be able to paperless cache with it without having to be connected to the internet and to be able to download maps and keep them on the touch so I can look at them with the caches overlade on it.

So does this method only create one cache at a time? That would take for ever. I wish there was some way to put all my cache info in my touch all at one time. then just update it as needed. And what is "jail break" I have never heard of doing that? and why do you not suggest doing it? does it cause damage to it in some way?

The 60 cs has been sold and shipped the others are still available. I also found out it is like 4.12 to ship usps first class anywhere in the us. So shipping is cheap!!!! And I found the Cable for one of the Etrex hand healds. I will give it to the first person who buys one.

Garmin Etrex Vista and an Etrex Legend are the Black and white models. I dont think they have model numbers for them. All that is included with them is the unit them selves. I have lost the wires to connect them to the computer but they can be purchased on line for about 10 bucks. The 60Cs is like new. I have several GPS units and I recently purchased a Vista HCx that I do enjoy using. The other day it stopped working correctly and I just returned it. After I returned home I realised that I only have two unlock codes for my Mapsource maps. Is there a way to cancel out the mapsource that I had on my old unit and transfer it to the new one? Or am I screwed? Please help....

It works great for looking up geocaches and getting all the info but it would be nice to use programs like GSAK to connect to my gps and upload or download waypoints directly to my gps that way on a trip I could add waypoints to the gps on the go.

I just bought a Motorola Q phone today and I am wondering if I can use it for any part of geocaching. I know I can go to to the geocaching website and look at cache info now but can I put pocket querries into the phone so I can go paperless? I know nothing about this phone but am wondering if anyone else is using it to geocache with. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for the info. I will download enroute and try it but i like the old software. I hope i can put geocaches in it. also why dont they add enroute to the update so you have the software. I updated my laptop and went on a trip and could not use mapsource. Why are they so stupid....

I just updated my MapSource software and now the tab for GPS is gone. How do I track on my computer now? I hope I am just missing something obvious.

I found this great mount for my GPS. It is a Ram Mount and it works great. I have been looking for something for my motorcycle and they have the perfect mount. I am driving from Santa Cruz to Disneyland and would like some advice on downloading geocaches for the trip down. Have you done the trip on hwy 5 and geocached along the way? What waypoints did you use for the trip how big of an area as far as miles did you use? Do you have any favorites along the way? Can you help me? Thanks.

Hi, my family is going to be visiting Marysvale Utah for a week and we plan on visiting the Paiute ATV Trail. I guess I am looking for two things. I would like to know if there are any MUST DO caches in the area and if anyone there would like to meet a nice family and maybe hang out for the day riding and geocahcing? I have never been to this area and am really excited to be able to visit. I am not exactly sure of the exact date at this time but it will be in approx 3 weeks. Thanks for any replys.

I am sure there is a way to put hints from geocaches on to my gps 60cs. But I cannot figure out how to make them transfer to it. If I go to the notes area it seems that spinner or gsak just send who created the GC and the rating of the GC. Could someone please help me with this. I would love to not cary my gps and my pda. One less thing to drop.

I am so excited. My new 60cs should arrive in the mail Monday or Tuesday. Howard Is great. He figured out the fastest and cheapest way to get my unit to me. I thank you Howard for being so nice and helping me out so much. I feel I found it for the best price and the best shipping price. I don’t think I get a free t-shirt but hey I have enough of those anyhow . His shipping price is the best compared to everything else I have seen on the net. Which is why I went with him. I found the unit cheaper on 2 sights but you are talking 5 or so bucks. But his shipping is a quarter of what everyone else is so his worked out to be the cheapest. my heart was beating and i thought i was going to get such a good deal but nope that is the c not the cs. keep them coming though. ill order one tomorrow morning and tell you which one i went with. i have been checking the shipping and some of these places are crazy when it comes to shipping charges.
