leadsuxx Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 I have been trying to install Canadian TOPO Maps onto my computer so I can put them onto my GPS and I keep getting an error during installation saying something like... Installation interrupted, unable to complete installation, etc. etc. What the heck should I try to remedy this??? I have tried removing all garmin software from my computer to see if that is the problem, but I keep getting the same crappy message. Now What? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Quote
MtnHermit Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 Now What?Seems you have a Garmin GPS and Garmin software. Then call Garmin, they have excellent customer support. Quote
+Nachtraaf Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 what is the message you are getting? Is it because a file is corrupted? If so, not much can be done, I guess. Once I could solve a similar problem by first clicking to the *.msi file (in the installation folder) and then on the setup.exe. Regards, Hans Quote
leadsuxx Posted March 24, 2008 Author Posted March 24, 2008 It turns out that there was some sort of conflict with another program on my computer. I just did a clean install of Windows this past weekend and I managed to get all my Garmin software working fine. Thanks for the help. Quote
