slowfly Posted February 18, 2008 Share Posted February 18, 2008 I am entering coordinates according to the instruction manuel of places that I know are not more than three miles distant and I am being directed to a site more than 40 miles away. Would someone please tell me how to enter coodinates. I am just starting geocaching so the entry of coordinates is important to me. Also great for getting you close to the cache location. However, it just isn't real suitable for Geocaching. The main issue is that it just isn't rugged enough for even urban trail use. You will be quite sorry if you ever stumble and drop it on the pavement or in a mud puddle. May I suggest getting an inexpensive Garmin Yellow eTrex "H" (the "H" is important) for about $90.
