Should I log it as found in the cache we found it in or wait for someone to log it as dropped in the cache we found it in? How long should I wait before logging it? Quote Link to comment

Maybe they dropped it this weekend. I would wait until at least Monday if you can. When you Retrieve it, post a note on the cache you found it in and do a drop, then Retrieve it back out. +whartonia Posted February 17, 2008 Author Share Posted February 17, 2008 I need to be more observant about these things. I had my 2 kids with me and a friends 3 kids. They were all so excited to open the cache that I barely saw the log. I didn't even realize that there was a geocoin (really a small shell) until one of the kids saw the tracking number on the back. In all the chaos I do remember seeing that someone had found the cache earlier today. Maybe that's who dropped the coin. I've added it to my watchlist to see what happens next. Quote Link to comment
