+Doug Mathieson Posted February 12, 2008 Share Posted February 12, 2008 I dont know if this is a known issue with the Colorado but when you are not in navagating to a route or waypoint my 60 csx will show a text display at the top of the screen of the upcoming street. I have been all over the Colorado menu and cant find how to turn this on. Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated Quote Link to comment

+apersson850 Posted February 12, 2008 Share Posted February 12, 2008 As many others have found out as well, the customization options on the Colorado aren't as extensive as they are on the 60 CSx. On the Colorado, when you are following a route, you'll get prompts for next turn at the top of the map screen. When not following any route, you don't get any. That's all there is. No user's settings for these prompts. What you can set is if you want two data fields or not, at the bottom of the screen. They'll then be the same, whether you have an active route or not, but you can easily make a profile for "not routing", if you want a different appearance when not following a route. Data fields like "ETA" and "Distance to next turn" aren't meaningful it there's no active route. Quote Link to comment

Thanks I was hoping there was the guidance text option like there was on the 60 This was easily set on the map menu screen and you had the options of showing text always never or just when navigating Quote Link to comment
