dragonolgoly
I would like to know what a good starter gps might be. Is the gecko any good? I need to find a good gps that would cost under $75.00. Quote Link to comment

A little more than you're planning to spend but sounds like a good deal: Enter savings code EX400 & get it for $99.99. Quote Link to comment
+maconart
I would like to know what a good starter gps might be. Is the gecko any good? I need to find a good gps that would cost under $75.00. I have a GPS Map 76 that has got me to over 450 caches and 431 benchmarks. It has been a good unit. My wife gave me a new Color GPSMap for Christmas, otherwise I would still be using this one. I do not have any additional maps since I am Mac based and that is a problem. A PC guy could do all kinds of things to it. I would be willing to let it go for $80. including shipping. If you are interested send me an email at maconart@mindspring.com. Quote Link to comment
+snowy03
I have a Lowrance iFinder Go that would make a good starter GPS. I purchased it for my young son to use but he never took to Geocaching. It comes with the operating instructions and the 85 page advanced user guide. I would let it go for $65 with shipping included. E-mail me at pasnowy03@yahoo.com if interested Quote Link to comment
