CoyoteRed Posted January 5, 2008 Share Posted January 5, 2008 In reference to this announcement regarding the issue with Comcast throttling and the past issues with throttling has the design team for Pheonix considered a suggestion made a while back about giving us the option of receiving a digest of non-critical emails from Groundspeak? The idea is to hold all communications from Groundspeak that is not hyper-critical-get-on-it-now-types of emails or your-cache-has-been-approved-types of emails until a certain interval has passed. I don't need individual emails for each logging for my caches. One digest per week would do me just fine. Some folks might be fine with daily. Some might not care to get them at all. Of course, I'd like to be instantly notified of SBAs, NMs, Approvals, and such. These could be an expanded function of the instant notification feature. Heck, this might even save on sever load during the times folks are logging caches--save the digests till later like the idea behind PQs. Just a suggestion. Link to comment
