WrappingMom
OK, I am brandnew to GeoCaching and this forum. This is my first post I have the following problem: I have the eTrex Vista HCx GPS from Garmin, and up to now I was always able to use the "Send to GPS" feature. I have installed the software correctly ("Garmin Communicator Plugin Test Page Communicator Plugin is properly installed and up to date, version 2.2.1.0. Garmin GPS device is detected and communicating properly: eTrex Vista HCx (Unit ID 3348870867)") But starting a few days ago, I get this message: Fatal Error: File Path: String Stream, line: 1, char: 573 Message: Expected entity name for reference I have tried everything - I deleted and re-installed the software, I tried both Firefox (which I always use), and the Internet Explorer, and I am getting really frustrated right now. I have only gone after 6 caches so far, so I am really just starting out. But I don't even know how to enter the coordinates manually into my GPS Help, please? Anybody? Quote Link to comment
WrappingMom
Well, turns out that other caches can be saved to my GPS quite successfully. The only one I am having trouble with is "Rolling cache & grab" GC13F3W . Maybe there is a problem on the specific site here?? Quote Link to comment
+Miragee
That Button has problems with caches that have odd characters like the '&' in that cache name . . . I've never used the "Send to GPS" button since GSAK has a "Send to GPSr now" right-click option for individual caches in the database. Quote Link to comment

WrappingMom
Wow! now I just have to figure out all the abbreviations (GSAK for example ). Now, can anybody help me how to enter the coordinates manually into my Vista?? I will break out the manual later, I guess, but if someone can help me, it would be much appreciated Quote Link to comment
