Multi Cache Waypoint Position

I want to place a multi cache but one of the waypoints is within 500 feet of another cache.........is this allowed?

 

I know there's a rule about placing caches within certain distances of each other but does this apply to waypoints of multi's.

Waypoints of the same multi can be as close as you like to each other, but all waypoints should be more than 528ft away from any physical waypoint of a different cache. From your OP it's not clear which situation you have.

 

However, this is just a guideline and the reviewers may be perfectly happy with 28ft . Best thing is to check with them first.

It all depends on the type of waypoint. If it's a "question to answer" then it can be closer than 528ft to anything else, however if it's a physical container e.g. film pot, then the usual proximity rules apply.

But whatever you do, don't put a 7 part multi in an SSSI site without noticing the restriction. Like wot I done the other day.
