How do I activate a diabetes TB? Too late?

I got one of the diabetes TB's a year or so ago and haven't used it yet. My prob is when I try to activate it there's no activation code. I've got the TB # but the pack it came in didn't have the activation code on it. What am I missing here? Are the diabetes TB's expired? Any tips? Thanks in advance.

Hey,

 

The Unite for Diabetes tags are actually "owned" by another account; just like the jeep tb's...(I couldn't state the name used right now without going back and finding one and I am just to lazy to go right now )...but all you need to do is use the "Grab from Elsewhere..." option when logging the tag. That should move it from no-man's-land to your account's inventory. You can then drop it and report it just like any other Travel Bug out there.

As this is a gc.com sponsored promotion the travel bug is already activated. You just 'grab' the bug to put it into your inventory.

 

Simply access this page

Enter in the tracking code printed on the tag. Access the bug page and under type of log select “Grab it” to put it into your inventory.

 

If you are having trouble logging it, first make sure that the 0s are not Os and the Is are not 1s. If that doesn't work for you, send an email with both the tracking number on the tag, and the TB number on the page (if you have it) to contact@Groundspeak.com and put "U4D TB tracking# problem" as your subject line.
