Screen freezing on 60CX

I've noticed on a couple of occasions that my map page freezes up. The position pointer will not move along the map, but I have my pointer and distance to destination in data fields at the top and they will work fine. Anyone else experience this?

Is your 60CX's firmware (internal software) updated? When you buy a new GPSr the firmware is almost certainly out of date (same with many other types of consumer electronics).

I bought mine as soon as they were available in Canada. So that would be what, year and a half old or more. Lately I've been noticing it more and more. Also when searching for a cache, on the compass page, it loses all data sometimes. I also lose the track at the same time(i.e. no track data recorded) I don't know if this is just a sign od it getting older, i've used it it almost everyday since I got it.
