+aclays
I havent' been able to figure out how to manually input coordinates like this: N** degrees **.*** W*** degrees **.*** I wanted to go to a particular cache nearby my work while on my lunch break. GSAK and all the cables were at home though, so I couldn't really do anything except manually input coords to find my way there. Thanks Quote Link to comment
+ventura_kids
Turn on your gps. If your gps has found out where you are, then the N and W should already be there. hit the Mark button. Use the mouse to select different numbers and enter (sorta like texting on your phone). The format is DD MM.MMM Just put in those little coordinates. Quote Link to comment
+ventura_kids
From the manual..... page 24 To create a waypoint by manually entering its coordinates (lat/lon): 1 pressin and hold the THUMB STICK to access the Mark Waypoint page. 2 Highlight the location Field on the Mark Waypoint Page, press the THUMB STICK and enter the new coordinates using the numerical keyboard. Highlight and press "OK" when finished. Quote Link to comment
+aclays
I figured I'd be able to find it in the manual, I left it at home though and was hoping to get this one before I head home later this evening. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
gallet
It's handy to know that all the manuals are available online if you ever get stuck somewhere without it. Quote Link to comment
