Oregon*Trail Posted July 29, 2007 Share Posted July 29, 2007 I know there are more than a hundred posts on usb and serial setups, but I have searched and can't find the info I need. I just purchased a Vista HCx and I'm new to GPSr and Geocaching in general. I own Microsoft MapPoint 2006 and I think I could have a very nice setup if I could get the two talking to each other. Microsoft MapPoint 2006 says I have Com 3 and Com 8 available but it doesn't see the Vista HCx connected by USB. Can someone tell me what to do or exactly what I need to purchase to make this combo work. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
