+chizu
I can't get onto GC.com and haven't been able since last night but no ones said anything here, so is it just me? Most sites seem to be loading but a few others are just timing out, including geocacheuk.com. Any suggestions? I'm on Virgin Media. Link to comment

The usual response is to suggest you clear your cache and perhaps delete the relevant cookies. Apart from that I can't say. Sorry. Link to comment
+chizu
It's not a computer issue as both the desktop and the wireless laptop have the problem - thanks very much, we'll look into it Link to comment
Izzy and the Lizard King
I've got no problems. I've just navigated through most of gc.com and everything's fine. I'm on Virgin Media, so nothing wrong there. Paul Link to comment
+chizu
Maybe it's an Edinburgh-specific problem? It's not loading on two different computers in either FF or IE7. Link to comment

+chizu
OK - sort of fixed for now. A man on the phone told me that apparently, for some reason Virgin Media can't access certain servers and are having to renegociate to access them?? Not sure why this would only be in the Edinburgh area though? Sounds rubbish to me! The workaround is to go to your connection settings and use a proxy server webcache.blueyonder.co.uk with port 8080. Link to comment
+chizu
The problem seems to have gone away this morning, even not using the proxy. Can a moderator close this thread now? Thanks for your help! Link to comment
