+Scare Force One
Ok, this is going to sound really stupid but im in the process of a mulit and I found the first leg and I opened it and it said the following; N475 W288. My GPS takes coords as follows; Direction (N,S,E,or W)##degrees ##.### Direction (N,S,E,or W)###degrees ##.###. So my question is how to I translate the format from the cache to a format usable by my GPS. All help is appriciated. +JamGuys
Seems to me that what you're dealing with are simply the decimal fractions of a minute for the N and W co-ords i.e. the actual minute values are probably unchanged from the previous leg. Quote Link to comment

So I should go 475 feet N and 288 feet E from the location of the first leg??? Quote Link to comment
+JamGuys
No, adjust the decimal parts of the N and W co-ords from Stage 1 to .475 and .288 respectively. At least, that's what I'd do! Quote Link to comment
+Totem Clan
Change the coords from N ?? ??.XXX W ?? ??.XXX to N ?? ??.475 W ?? ??.288. Quote Link to comment
+Scare Force One
That worked. Thanks so much for your help. Now closing topic for obvious reasons. Scare Force One Quote Link to comment
