Definitely go with the DVD if you are the least bit computer literate, which I would say anyone using this forum is. I don't mean to question your computer knowledge it's just that sometimes someone may be asking for a grandparent or someone who easily gets frustrated with learning new software. The DVD will allow you to create tracks, make routes, create waypoints, only load maps you really won't and the list goes on. With the maps bought on the micro SD you can not view them on your computer or do the things I mentioned above. Quote Link to comment
