RedStickHam
I'm considering switching from Windows to Linux as my main OS and am looking for an application that will allow me to transfer waypoints to my Etrex Legend that will run in Linux. I've found some text based stuff, but nothing graphical like EasyGPS. IF anyone knows of such a program, please let me know. Thanks. RedStickHam Quote Link to comment

I suggest you try a liveCD from this site: http://www.frozentech.com/content/livecd.p...mp;sort=Purpose which has Wine and see if it will work. This way you don't mess up your PC. I haven't had a great deal of luck using EasyGPS or similar under Wine yet. Quote Link to comment

+Edgar Allan Gump
If anyone is interested and for those who find this thread later, I've gotten and older version of EasyGPS working on Linux under wine. I wrote up a HOWTO on the wine application database page for EasyGPS. Quote Link to comment
