+maconart
I found Benchmark #300 today. Not bad for a red mud, kudzoo covered, 30 year collection of dead grass and weeds state. Now to 400 and beyond. I am trying to color in the central north part of Alabama. Quote Link to comment
2oldfarts (the rockhounders)
What? No Pictures? Not even a link? Share the fun, John Quote Link to comment
+maconart
I wish it would have been an exciting mark but it was just a typical, in the ground, mark at Neely Henry Dam, near Ragland, Alabama. The mark had been found before so I didn't even have the first to log going for me. Quote Link to comment
2oldfarts (the rockhounders)
Congrats on finding your 300th even if it was just a typical benchmark. It may have been a typical mark, but getting 300 finds is definitely non-typical. Well Done! John Quote Link to comment
TVA Surveyor
Great job on finding your 300th BM. I've done some surveying in the Hanceville area. Alabama has a lot of marks that are published in the NGS database, so happy hunting. This has given me a new avenue in which I can search for BM's that may have been found by someone on the Geocaching web. Thanks again for your hard work. Quote Link to comment
