+Kabuthunk
Just a minor issue... but I'm thinking that if it's possible to get it corrected, it'd be nice. Long story short... I'm activating a few TB's today that I just finished preparing for their journey. With the first one I activated "Go East Young Kabs" (that being http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?id=652220 ). During it's activation, when it was showing the option to select it's origin, I selected Canada. However, in the pulldown menu underneath Canada... it was empty. Pulldown menu contained nothing. Wasn't sure why, but it didn't change in the slightest after selecting 'Canada' in the first menu. My memory being hazy of the exact steps of activating my last TB, I just clicked 'continue', not sure if it would give the option to select 'Manitoba' after that. Nope... just said it finished activating it. So I was confused. I however also had a second TB I was planning on activating as well at this time (Go West Young Kabs... over http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?id=651766 ). Upon going through the activation of THAT travelbug, I DID have the option of selecting Manitoba... which I did. Very peculiar that the first one didn't... but that's what happened. Now, as you may assume, both of these travelbugs sorta follow the same theme (albeit in opposite directions, but that's kinda the point). The fact that one shows origin as "Canada", and the other is "Manitoba, Canada" is a minor annoyance, in that I wanted them to be seen as starting in the same place. Thus brings me to the point of this topic. Nowhere in the 'edit this item' option can I change it's place of origin. I'm not sure if this is even able to be done by myself, but you never know. Hence... is it possible to change "Go East Young Kabs" to have an origin of "Manitoba, Canada", or failing that is it possible for an mod/admin with powers to change such things to change it? If they could have the same origin, it would be much appreciated :} Quote Link to comment
+BlueDeuce
You can send an email to contact@geocaching.com and they can correct your origin. Quote Link to comment
